Bros4Life – The Pancho Brothers

“There is a destiny which makes us brothers; none goes his way alone. All that we send into the lives of others comes back into our own.” ⠀
Edwin Markham
The last walk I ever did with my Amy was on a beautiful May morning. We went to a lake to watch the sun rise. My mom accompanied us and we both cherish this memory very much.
So this week I told her ‘Let’s go there again. With the boys! Show them beautiful East Frisia, enjoy a sunrise, do some awesome photos!’ My mom agreed, so I was awake at 3am today. Only early birds catch the best… sunrise!
We fed the boys, we got ourselves ready, we prepared the camera, a brush for their styling, we even took Sancho’s favorite chicken toy (without it he has no ears on photos). We thought we were fully equipped!
Two hours later… We were walking through East Frisian nature but no lake in sight. We found some sheeps instead and Sancho started crying, while Luigi couldn’t decide if he wanted to walk next to me or my mom. At some point I said ‘Look there are some beautiful flowers! Just let them sit there for a pretty photo!’ I zoomed in and started laughing. ‘They look like muddy wet Gremlins! When did that happen?’ So my mom asked if we shouldn’t do a photo as the brush was of no big help! I said ‘Nah it’s fine! This is just who they are!’
When we were back home we took a look at all the Gremlin photos and laughed so hard. Beautiful sunrise, East Frisian nature, perfect lightning and flowers… and then those two mud monsters in the middle of it.
And this is the story behind it. It’s who we are. Real and muddy and loving life. This is what our IG account is about. Sharing the joy, the laughter, our lives with two adorable boys. The Pancho Brothers.
