How to find your way through a maze – in East Frisia! π
We were on a beautiful morning walk through the Westerhammrich in Leer, East Frisia… when we suddenly spotted this maze! How to find your way through a maze? Well, first you need to find one!
1. Finding a maze
We can’t compare with the world’s largest maze in Hawaii, but our East Frisian maze is cute and made with much love – and somehow no way out. It’s placed in the Westerhammrich between two lakes in 26789 Leer, Germany. If you might think we have more cool stuff here… nope! That’s basically it!
2. Entering the maze
Find your courage, something to drink, good shoes (waterproof) and if you have… some dogs! They might or might not help you find your way through a maze!

3. Stop running in circles
After the first enthusiasm like “Oh this is easy, just follow the path!” has passed and you’re realizing you’re in an actual maze, that was build to confuse people and let them loose all sense of orientation… stop running in circles! Focus on the sun and if it’s a grey and foggy day (because after all you’re in East Frisia) just keep walking!

4. Get to the middle of the maze
Somewhen you probably make it to the middle of the maze, because all ways lead there, I think. Take a happy pic and look like you know what you’re doing… and continue walking!

5. Find your way out of the maze
In case you’re in an East Frisian maze at some point you’ll realize there is no way out – just a way in. Ah so it’s easy because you just have to take the same path back? Nope. You’re in a maze! Just press your chubby bodies through the hedges in case you might get too frustrated. Get out and swear to never get in there again. Go home and make a funny video of your adventure. Like us:
